Pond Sealant

Soilfloc® Sealant is the best polymer based sealant available for your canal, irrigation ditch or watering hole. Specifically designed to find leaks, whether in the floor, the wall or through rock formations and seal them. Soilfloc® custom blends linear and cross-linked polymers to seal any type of soil, for any sized project.

Muck Remover
The biological removal of muck and sludge from ponds, lakes and canals is an ecological way to eliminate organic sediments from ruining shorelines and making swimming impossible. Safe muck eating bacteria are blended from anaerobic bacterial mixtures and enzymes that specifically target the thick, black, stinky muck that is common in ponds and lakes.

Dock Bubblers
Bubbler systems use perforated tubing placed at the bottom of the water around a boathouse, dock or wall. When using diffuser lines to protect your dock from ice damage there will be some fairly common installation procedures: place the air compressor in a ventilated cabinet or shed and run an airline to the structure where a weighted bubbler hose is placed at strategic points around the dock or against the wall.

Repair on compressor that failed after a few weeks?

Hello,

I purchased a 1/2 HP COM106CK Brookwood compresser less than 8 weeks ago and it is smoking when turned on and has stopped working. I am not impressed with the pump, why would it only last a few weeks?? When I spoke to a salesman on the phone and told him the pump had died already I was told to return it at my expense for a check-up. It is only a few months old so it is under warranty! Why would you not send me a new pump right away this one failed and smoked so quickly after I installed it.

I am not happy that this pump didn't work!!

Hello Griepentrog,

You forgot to mention that when you recieved the new pump you cut the power cord, and re-wired the compressor to attempt to operate it with 230 volts instead of the 115 volts required by the pump. You purchased a 115 volt model but your power supply was 230 volts. You cannot just cut the cords and attach a new plug and expect the pump to function with different voltages to what it is designed for.

This is as if you put diesel fuel in your new car and then complained that the car was faulty.

Please order the proper voltage in the future or contact us prior to purchase to avoid such problems.

The Brookwood series of air compressors for aerators comes in both 115 volt and 230 volt configurations. If you have a Vertex Aeration System the proper model number should be verified to ensure the proper replacement Brookwood compressor is purchased.

The Brookwood compressors are available here: http://www.thepondreport.com/store/air-pumps-air-compressors/brookwood-compressors

The pump you originally purchased smoked and ceased functioning because of the re-wiring and operation using improper voltages which voided the warranty.

This is a great example of why it is best to contact a vendor prior to purchasing if you have any uncertainty about the proper product to purchase. Our toll free number is always available to ask questions before purchase.
